Siamo nel distretto di Nauwankot nella Regione centrale del Trinsuli, accompagnati da Rachana Uprety per conoscere il suo villaggio di Kharaintar, disposto su una collina amena e soleggiata del “Darku Valley” e del torrente “Tadi Kola” dove affluiscono le acque limpidissime nel fiume principale del Trinsuli.
Questo luogo e’ raggiungibile da Kathmandu in Pullman in 7/8 ore. Dipende molto dalla viabilita’ della strada che parte dal centro abitato di Battar.
Tra i luoghi da visitare in un’altura dominante del Trinsuli, il complesso residenziale del Palazzo Reale e la Dubar Square di Nuwakot della prima epoca Malla, considerato come seconda capitale del Nepal dopo quella di Gorkha.
Le colline circostanti vanno alternandosi fino le pendici del “Langthang e del National Park”. Tra i centri religiosi da visitare Baradi Mandhir e Dupche Mandhir, dedicati a “Shiva God”.
L’ambiente non e’ toccato dal turismo e c’e’ la possibilita’, adattandosi, di trascorrere alcuni giorni, accolti dalla famiglia Uprety. Le escursioni sono facili, incontrando i tipici villaggi nepalesi e la bella campagna dai rilievi non ripidi, sono coltivati e sagomati come un plastico geografico. Volendo e’ punto di partenza anche per il trekking del Langthang Park” salendo per le alture, ai laghi di Goshaikunda.
Il programma dettagliato di questo viaggio etnografico tra le popolazioni Cetri, Bramine, Newari e verso il Langthang, Tamang; viene realizzato per trascorrere un minimo di tre giorni di permanenza fino al trekking vero di una decina di giorni.

We are going to visit the Nauwankot District, in the Center Region of the Trinsuli and we are accompanied from Rachana Uprety to know its village of Kharaintar. This tipycal village is arranged on a pleasant and sunned hill of the "Darku Valley" and of the torrent "Tadi Kola" where the most limpid waters flow on the Trinsuli River. These valleys are reached by Kathmandu in Coach to about 7/8 hours. It depends the conditions of road that it leaves by the Battar to Kharaintar. Among the places to visit in a dominant hill of the Trinsuli, the antique Site of Real Palace and the Dubar Square Nuwakot of the first Malla Age. It is considered like second Capital of the Nepal after that one of Gorkha.
The surrounding hills are going alternating until the slopes of the "Langthang and the National Park". Between the religious centers to visit Baradi Mandhir and Dupche Mandhir, its are dedicated to "Shiva God". This area is not touched from the normale tourism. We give this new possibility; adapting itself with slipping-bag, to pass some beautiful days togheter Uprety Family. The excursions are easy, meeting the typical nepalesi villages and the beautiful campaign from the not steep reliefs. The particulare countryside is cultivated from the terraces shape forms like a geographic plastic of the ground.
The "Darku Valley" is point of departure also, for trekkings to the Langthang National Park and to ovrtake the Goshaikunda Lakes.
